Position: Senior manager/ Director Software Engineering
The position will be involved with the development and implementation of Software related to Web Services, design, development and quality assurance of product solutions for medical applications. Role involves management of a development team and enable delivery of functions and features per System Requirements. Provide technical and non technical guidance in parts of the system which interface with the server. The function will also support web operations and IT services in the interim.
· MSEE/MSCS with at least 12 years of development experience or PhD with 7+ years.
· Expert level background in web development and in-depth knowledge of C, C++, Java, J2EE, JBoss, HTML, JSP, JavaScript, SOAP, XML, Mule, Hibernate, MySQL, and UNIX
· Good knowledge of Spring framework and SQL based database management desirable
· Demonstrated ability to anticipate system component interactions and create proactive mitigations for on-budget and on-time project delivery.
· Successful interdisciplinary team integration and development with an ability to integrate product requirements with team performance and manage team expectations under changing marketplace requirements.
· Experience as lead or manager/director desirable. Ability to work cross-functionally with engineers, technicians, managers, contractors, manufacturing, research, regulatory groups.
· Previous Medical Device/Healthcare Industry Experience a plus
