Director Solution Architect
Our Service Production-Solution Integration team fulfils the vital function of enabling domain ITs to provide a seamless service experience for their business. We need an experienced and inspiring individual as a thought leader.
The opportunity
You will have overall responsibility for norming and delivering our technology application architecture, technology stack and solution design to a consistently high quality that meets customer expectations.
Your duties will include developing technology application architecture based on customer requirements, delivering an integrated solution design to the respective domain IT and creating a catalogue of blueprints and best practice documents.
You will also make sure appropriate standards are adhered to by maintaining a stable, viable and consistent architecture. In your additional governance role, you will review approve design and implementation or raise any risk up to executive management. At the same time, you will help team members to grow while building a community of developers and architects.
About you
You have a Masters of Science, ten years of work experience, including five as a leader, and a good understanding of the reinsurance market, business practices and approaches. Your experience covers managing suppliers and vendors, leading a function and being a project leader.
An expert in solution design, architecture and technologies like Java/JEE and SOA as well as integrating systems and interfacing solution components and concepts, you are focused on monitoring emerging technologies.
You possess a combination of analytical, planning
and creative skills, along with drive and initiative.
