Director, Specialty Pharmacy Programs
This position directs key functions within Specialty that include the activities of the Specialty Program Management. The position provides strategic leadership and direction of the development, implementation and management of therapy specific business plans as well as clinical plan for all Specialty Therapeutic Areas. This position will lead the team to ensure the business plans align with the financial, operational and strategic direction of the organization. This position requires a solid understanding of the needs of key customers including patients, physicians, payors and manufacturers in order to lead the team in developing and executing on the business plans. This unique position blends clinical expertise and business acumen, and requires the ability to coordinate and implement effective plans to launch new programs, therapies and products into the portfolio of specialty programs in a timely, consistent and organized manner. The oversight of the Specialty Pharmacy Programs requires in-depth understanding of the needs and objectives of customers and the ability to provide consultative solutions around Specialty programs and services that drive revenue and profit growth for the Specialty business. Incumbent must work effectively and collaboratively with multiple business functions to drive revenue and deliver exceptional service to customers.
