Current Need The Director, Strategic Process Consulting is a key member of the Business Process Six Sigma Leadership Team and will interact regularly C-level clients while helping influence business strategy. The Director will manage and successfully drive process improvement for McKesson Distribution Solutions at the Corporate office. Key clients include Generics, Brand, Global Sourcing, ISMC, Marketing and Sales. The Director, Strategic Process Consulting will help their clients significantly improve their ability to meet customer expectations, reduce costs, increase profits, and develop leaders. Position Description Project/Program responsibilities include: - Responsible for the development implementation of projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams focused on delivery from design process through a finished state. - Interfaces with all areas affected by the project. -Defines project scope and objectives. - Oversees all aspects of project and serves as project manager between clients, line management and internal and external resources. - Develop business cases for strategic plans - Support sound project identification and funnel development - Scope complex problems into a well defined project plan - Build business owner relationships drive project buy-in - Run high exposure projects as needed Leadership responsibilities include: - Assess new talent / hire - Develop and mentor new team members / develop GreenBelts Blackbelts for future roles - Train individuals of multiple talents and learning styles on the methodology - Detailed project review assistance (tailored to each Greenbelt Blackbelt's learning style, talent level) - Interact regularly with McKesson Executives and senior level leadership Minimum Requirements - 8+ years experience in designing, building, and implementing business solutions. - 2+ years management consulting or similar internal consulting role Additional Knowledge Skills - Possess solid business acumen - Financial acumen - ability to calculate cost benefit analysis and ROI -Help Greenbelt and Blackbelts identify financial savings. - Must be able to build business case from listening to senior leaders. - Familiar with of Six Sigma tools and methodologies Education 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience Benefits Company Statement We believe you should be rewarded for the important work you do.
