The global and debt markets business of this large banking group is looking for an experienced professional to devise strategic initiatives that may include acquisitions and partnerships designed to contribute to an aggressive and global strategy to grow the overall business.
Major Responsibility Areas:
- Developing executing growth strategy for Global Markets Loans and its specific businesses by product/geography
- MA and partnership activities from target identification to due diligence and integration into the business
Position Deliverables:
- Shape business strategy whilst ensuring key buy-in from key stakeholders
- Work with the Global Markets business and other stakeholders to develop strategic initiatives
- Partner with business Heads to understand and articulate business strategy
- Assist the Global Markets Loans Leadership Team to deliver revenue growth and revenue outcomes in line with that detailed in the strategic agenda
- Build good relationships with key stakeholders and utilise influencing skills where required
Essential Skills:
- Ability to respond quickly to Strategy and MA related demands
- At least 10-12 years relevant experience with an Investment/Commercial Bank, or Consulting background
- Experience in delivering projects and a strategic agenda with multiple geographies and stakeholders
- Excellent ability to develop high quality strategy packs and financial models (valuation and forecasting)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Tertiary qualifications with a preference for a numerate, business or finance related discipline
- Highly numerate with proficient written skills
