Responsibilities

This position is responsible for identifying and addressing workforce and organizational gaps that will enable successful execution on our business strategy, and for developing and execution of a world-class talent acquisition strategy for the organization.  

This role will provide leadership in the identification of strategic talent gaps, and creation of the long term acquisition strategy for meeting talent needs, segmented to drive competitive advantage for the business. The role leads a team of 20 talent acquisition professionals responsible for acquiring the talent needed to implement the business strategy

Develop and execute a sourcing strategy and processes for talent acquisition team as well as management and front-line associates.  Evaluate strategies (technology, social media, job fairs, referral bonuses, etc) and create business cases for needed investments in those strategies for identifying candidates

Develop, track, and communicate key metrics and measurement tools to track recruiting/staffing performance versus objectives and recommend/implement solutions where performance is off.  Track compliance with required processes (applicant tracking, pre-hire assessments, drug screening, testing, diversity targets) and ensure necessary training is successfully executed

Source, select, and manage necessary support (contingency recruiters) to achieve staffing requirements.

Provides leadership in the creation of the employment "Brand" for the organization and develops supporting materials to communicate that "Brand" via employment ads, postings, our website, recruiting materials, etc

Partner closely with the HR leadership team in changes in the organization, staying connected to all things HR within each business group


Qualifications

Bachelors Degree: Business/HR

8-10 Years Experience

Strategic workforce planning and talent segmentation experience

Experience with developing a centralized staffing function for a large, geographically dispersed business.  Broad HR  leadership experience and understanding

Proven leadership experience

Experience leading third party recruiting partners

Knowledge of best-in-class sourcing and selection processes

Knowledge of tracking methods to monitor performance

Knowledge of all applicable employment laws

Contagious passion regarding finding good people

Ability to think strategically and act tactically

High drive for action and results orientation

Strong persuasion/communication skills

Strong creative/critical thinking skills

Advanced degree and/or certification a plus

Ability to provide direct and constructive feedback to direct reports, peers, boss and partners
