Key Roles Responsibilities
Transactional Trade Credit Insurance/ Risk Mitigate solutions
o To be the Trade Credit Insurance Specialist in working with and supporting the global trade finance business of the group
o To engage with the product and sales partners in the countries to identify needs and develop solutions to address them, including assisting in implementation of deal specific.
o Focus areas in structuring facilitating bespoke Insurance-Backed Open Account, Supply Chain Financing and Documentary suite of solution as well as any other global trade finance business of the group.
o Engage Underwriters/ Investors/ Insurance Intermediaries market to seek for the most optimum/ effective credit risk mitigate solution to support and credit enhance the deal, including but not limited to policy design, structure, wording negotiation, review etc.
Group Trade Credit Insurance/ Risk Mitigate programs
o Support the team in the management running of all the group Credit Insurance/ Risk Mitigate global programs.
o Support the team in the overall development commercializing of new risk mitigate solutions/ initiatives for the group.
o Having global responsibility and ownership over the End-To-End Process/ governance/ approval sanctions of the usage of all credit insurance policies of the Group
- Work with and support the insurance distribution desk of Corporate Finance as a one-face for the bank into the insurance market.
- Drive Origination and Revenue growth by exploring creating new trade credit insurance/ risk mitigating solutions to create credit headroom to support the strategy of the group to deepen client relationship.
- To support the team in promoting and championing trade credit insurance – as a centre of excellence, providing training and knowledge transfer to the global network.
- To support the team in working with other stakeholders (eg Trade Fund Sales/ Portfolio Management) in preparation for any capital management initiatives, including but not limited to trade securitization, funded transactions, CLOs etc.
- To support the team in managing optimizing the group balance-sheet through effective use of credit insurance/ risk mitigate solution.
You are degree qualified with relevant experience from reputable financial institutions. within Trade Finance / Structured Trade Finance arena. You should have experience in Trade Credit Political Risk Insurance. Experience in Project Finance/ Export Finance/ Syndication would be added advantage. More importantly, you should be analytical, and strategic with the ability to appreciate the bigger picture.
