Director, Trade Finance recruitment
This leading Global Investment Bank that provides a wide range of banking products across corporate and institutional banking sectors is seeking a Director Trade Finance to join their established business.
Forming part of the broader global transaction services business, you will be part of the leadership team and provide management capability to the existing team and platform.
You will also assist driving growth of the business by developing strategic ideas,? sourcing new clients and deepening relationships with existing clients.?
Key responsibilities will include:
- Achieve budget by generating revenue from sale of Trade Products;
- Manage and retain existing clients and develop new clients to explore cross-selling opportunities and increase market share;
- Understand client needs and communicate to relevant internal business groups (Product, Operations, Risk Management) to develop tailored solutions to clients;
- Build and leverage off internal networks and knowledge both locally and globally;
- Understand and analyse the market condition for GTS products and provide input for development, enhancement and market positioning.
- Tertiary qualifications related to Finance
- Extensive experience in Trade Finance in Australia, with a solid understanding of Cash Management;
- Proven track record in Sales, preferably in Cash Management and Trade Finance sales from an international banking environment;
- Ability to recognise market opportunities and develop strategies for bottom-line improvement and revenue deliverables;
- Ability to anticipate and respond to client needs;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop internal and external relationships.
