The Client
Our client is a global financial institution with a strong presence in Singapore. They are recognised for offering first class products services for individuals and corporate alike. Due to aggressive growth strategy, our client is looking to hire experienced professionals to join their ranks.
Director -Trade Finance Sales to join the team based in Singapore. This role will report directly into the head of the team and you will have managerial responsibilities.
Position:
- You will spearhead the origination/trade finance sales effort across South East Asia particularly across Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia and India.
- Key focus will be on: Bilateral and Syndicated Specialized Inventory/Commodity Finance, Trade Receivables Finance, Working Capital Guarantees, Supplier Finance and tailored commodity based financing such as: Pre-export finance, Back-to-Back LC and Front-to-Back LC.
- In corroboration with RMS and the product team, you will have a key role in achieving trade revenue targets and increasing the revenue of the group.
The Candidate
- This is for a Director level hire – candidates must have extensive trade finance sales experience, ideally from an international investment bank.
- Familiarity with the SE Asian markets is essential.
