Director Trading, Credit Risk recruitment
Our client, a leading financial company, currently seeks a Director Trading, Credit Risk, to be based in London
The Director Trading, Credit Risk will be part of the GRM - Market Trading Credit team, and will be responsible for:
-Management of London Trading Credit Risk team.
-Daily credit risk reporting for trading activities.
-Transactional support for Front Office for large and complex deals.
-Proactive role in managing credit resources, including recommendations for policy and risk measurement changes.
-Full understanding of risk policies and procedures.
-Key liaison with IT with respect to support and development of new trading systems/enhanced credit risk reporting.
-Provision of any necessary regulatory reports related to credit exposure.
As such, the successful Director Trading, Credit Risk will have the following skills and experience:
-Strong knowledge and practical experience credit risk and its management with particular focus on trading and derivatives products.
-Minimum Upper 2nd undergraduate degree in relevant subject area (e.g. Economics, Finance, or quantitative subjects such as Maths or Engineering)
-Post -graduate qualification in finance/banking related subject-area.
-Previous people management experience.
-Knowledge of industry standard documentation (e.g. ISDA, GMRA, etc..)
-Relevant industry training courses and/or CFA an asset.
-Strong Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) skills.
