DIRECTOR TRAINEESHIP - Tropical Kids We are offering an opportunity to an experienced and talented childcare professional to be trained as a Centre Director. If you are an excellent Group Leader or an Assistant Director and you are looking to advance your career, this is a chance to be trained professionally to eventually manage our beautiful centre at Gordonvale. Tropical Kids Gordonvale is a unique centre set on 1 acre of land and has an amazing natural playground with an abundance of ELYF features such as natural grass, a water park, a vegetable garden, a chicken house, a mini rock climbing wall and many, many more exciting features. The owners are determined to make Tropical Kids at Gordonvale one of the best centres in the Cairns region. Forget about begging or borrowing resources and equipment, your needs will be heard and you will have everything you need. Creative suggestions to improve the centre are also encouraged. The successful applicant must have a minimum Diploma qualification and a proven track record as a Group Leader or Assistant Director. You will be trained on site for a minimum of 6 months by our Operations Manager to ensure that you are familiar with all of our procedures and that you have built up solid relationships with the families. A sound knowledge of current regulations and good programming skills are essential along with a bright, fun personality and good communication skills with the parents.
