Director, Training( Job Number: 1201576) Description This position can be located in any Charter location JOB SUMMARY Responsible for training delivery strategy, enterprise-wide Customer Care, Charter Business, and Field Operations training initiatives for all KMA s and Call Centers. Manages the ongoing development and certification of Charter University Staff. FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION Actively and consistently support all training efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Ensures learning schedules and calendars are administered and maintains participant records during training. Performs needs assessment, works closely with field SME s in order to align with business needs and Charter competencies. Analyzes and manages strategies to maximize learner performance. Oversees end to end delivery projects and facilitates communication strategies. Monitors linkage between curriculum and improved learner job performance. Oversees delivery strategy and training solutions for all employees. Manages day to day operations of Charter University Measures return on investment for Charter University programs. Evaluates learning to enhance learning experience. Enhances individual and team performance by creating a climate of continuous learning in support of the organization s strategic initiatives. Establish rationale, objective training metrics that accurately measure training effectiveness Oversee external vendors/external consultants May perform other duties as assigned PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Ability to analyze and interpret data Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure Ability to prioritize and organize effectively Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties Ability to supervise and motivate others Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.) Knowledge of cable and telecommunications products and services Skills in teambuilding, relationship building, facilitation and presentation Knowledge of a learning management system Education Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, related field or equivalent experience Masters degree preferred Related Work Experience Training and development experience 15 Training management experience 10 Prefer experience training in a University environment or other fast paced organization WORKING CONDITIONS Office environment Approximately 60% travel
