Director, Transaction Management Practice recruitment
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Established in 2002, the Transaction Management (TM) Practice includes 100 experts focused entirely on the alignment and optimization of the transaction life cycle processes:
- Implementation and upgrades of Front to Back office systems
- Target Operational Control and processes design, optimization and execution (BPO)
- Reconciliation and Control system implementations, off/near shoring support of reconciliation systems
- Innovative Package Solutions (TM Solutions) and custom application development
Directors are expected to perform across the following areas:
Client Delivery:
- Lead the mobilization and delivery of a full range TM projects on client site
- Oversee project management and control processes throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Provide appropriate levels of industry insight and expertise, together with recommendations to clients
- Manage status meetings with client stakeholders and project teams to ensure the timely, transparent and cost effective delivery of projects
Business Development:
- Proactively contribute to the development of the Investance client network
- Identify TM consulting opportunities where Investance services can be deployed
- Work closely with the TM practices in New York, Paris, London and Hong Kong to leverage our global network
People:
- Manage the recruitment, training and development of consultants within the practice
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and candidates and constantly expanding network
Knowledge Capitalization and Research:
- Drive thought leadership and research on TM related topics
- Use thought leadership to create opportunities out of research initiatives
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
Candidates must have experience across the following areas:
- Minimum 10 years of change management experience delivering change initiatives in Financial Institutions or 10 years hands-on experience in an Operational role
- Proven experience working on strategic or change management initiatives
- Robust understanding of Operational Banking in Capital Markets, Pension Plans or Insurance
- Good knowledge of the generic system development lifecycle
- Excellent project management skills including: time budget management, project delivery methodologies, risk, issue dependency management and communicating to stakeholders
- Proven ability to run and direct workshops with senior client executives
- Strong business development acumen and client relationship management skills
- Research and thought leadership skills

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum BA/BSc or equivalent (preferably Finance orientated degree)
- Preferably a MBA with BA/BA or equivalent in Economics, Business, Engineering or Sciences
