Our Economic Advisory Group is a leading economic and commercial advisor to government private sector clients. We help capture and analyse the impacts of projects and investments to determine their economic feasibility along with assisting with policy development, program evaluation, economic impact assessments and providing commercial advice to Government. Due to the rapid growth of our economics practice, we are looking for an experienced Economist, ideally with a strong record in the transport sector, to join our team in Sydney. We are looking for someone who can immediately play - or can quickly develop towards - a senior national leadership position in our team. We'll look to you to lead the preparation of business cases, economic appraisals, and economic impact assessments, and to provide world-class regulatory and public policy consulting skills. You'll provide advice on a variety of projects including economic and social infrastructure developments and industry reform initiatives, and help us to grow the business. The position will be challenging but will offer sustained progression in the business. You will have at least 5 to 10 years relevant experience as a top class economist within your chosen field, with the ability to lead the team as it grows around you.
