Director UK Wholesale Marketing recruitment

 Role

• To develop and drive the company’s UK Wholesale Marketing Strategy.

• To plan, develop and deliver all UK Wholesale campaigns to Strategic Partners, intermediaries, fund supermarket platforms and financial institutions.

• To work closely with the Heads of Strategic Partners and IFAs, UK Financial Institutions and  the heads of Sales for UK Wholesale, UK Financial Institutions (UK FIG) and Specialist sales to identify and implement both strategic and tactical business, sales and marketing initiatives to increase product penetration into these market segments and grow our market share.

Responsibilities

• Ensure UK Wholesale Marketing plans and activities are fully supportive of all UK Wholesale, UK FIG and Specialist sales priorities.

• Develop, implement and monitor customer and service propositions, in conjunction with UK Wholesale Sales, for Strategic Partners, IFAs (tiers 1,2 and 3), fund platforms, UK FIG and Specialist sales clients and prospects.

• Lead the launch of new products into the UK Wholesale market, working closely with Product Development and Sales, including the roll-out of the multi-boutique proposition in the UK.

• Represent the firm at Marketing Director level in the UK Wholesale market.

• Ensure the provision of product, market, competitor and performance information to clients and the UK Wholesale sales teams is timely, relevant and, where appropriate, impactful.

• Work closely with corporate communications to ensure the alignment and implementation of UK Wholesale communications messages in a timely and effective manner.

• Design, implement and monitor the effectiveness of campaigns and contact programmes, using the full marketing mix

• Determine UK Wholesale Internet requirements and ensure these are complied with.

• Ensure full regulatory (including TCF and MIFID) Compliance of all UK Wholesale marketing materials, processes, procedures and campaigns.

• Forge strong relationships with key distributors and platforms.

• Manage the UK Wholesale budget.

• Approve all UK Wholesales marketing material.

• Work with our media buyer and creative agency to ensure the effective implementation of impactful campaigns.

Person specification

• Must have a minimum of 10 years experience within the financial services arena in a marketing role.

• Must have drive and enthusiasm.
