This high profile position will be responsible for Running Fees and Authorizations Team in Card Customer Management. This is a critical business function reporting to the MVP of Yield Management and CLIP.

Director will play a key role in the management of the Card portfolio managing a large portion of our revenues and key leverage points for managing customer experience and regulatory risk. Opportunity to run two credit programs and significant potential for Credit Officer development or accreditation. Also a role with important interaction with Operations, IT, Legal and Compliance to ensure that we make the proper integrated business decisions for our shareholders, customers and other stakeholders.

Fees team is responsible for all membership fees, penalty fees and activity fees representing over $1B in annual revenues. Includes ownership of $50MM NIAT Overlimit Opt-In program to sell overlimit coverage to customers and $200MM NIAT potential MF repricing initiative. Requires strong analytics and problem solving as we retool or fee business for life after the CARD Act.

Authorizations team is responsible for decisioning all OL and PD transactions representing $5B in annual exposure and $40MM in annual NIAT.

Responsibilities:
- Build strategy for area of responsibility
- Drive results in the area to generate profits - implementation, analysis, review work, approve decisions
- Manage people - supervise, plan and develop
- Influence and communicate upwards and down
- Manage up to 6 people

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in any quantitative field (business, math, economics, finance, statistics, science, engineering)
- 2 Years experience in People management
- 2 Years experience in Strategy development
- 2 Years experience in Analysis using tools such as SQL, SAS, Excel

Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Bachelors Degree in any quantitative field (business, math, economics, finance, statistics, science, engineering)
- PMP, CFA, FRM, CPA
- 5 Years experience in People management
- 5 Years experience in Strategy development
- 5 Years experience in Analysis using tools such as SQL, SAS, Excel
- 5 Years experience in Consulting
