Role Summary:
Champion global OTC implementation and deployment efforts with a highly visible level of responsibility
Responsibilities:
MANAGEMENT
- Manage the implementation of multiple global programs focused on onboarding of new middle office outsourcing clients in the area of OTC derivatives, with additional focus on regulatory-driven changes required for current middle office clients.
- Manage linkages between OTC project work and other areas as part of broader end-to-end onboarding / implementation efforts.
- Manager of managers whose roles are focused on executing specific client onboarding / implementations and required technology platform enhancements to support client needs.
- Manage team by providing ongoing direction in the development and management of project plans. Oversee the development of implementation recommendations and action plans.
- Counsel others (non-OTC leaders, operational managers) on making decisions that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of daily operations.
- Influence opportunities to increase quality, productivity and control related to program / project work. Spearhead revised policies, procedures and processes.
- Advise client relationship managers in understanding OTC operating model and technical capabilities, and in managing clients' OTC expectations.
- Champion inquiries from / issues raised by various State Street organizations and follow through to ensure that implementation problems and issues are addressed.
- Influence others in preparing various statuses, activity and performance reports for senior management
- Collaborate with Derivatives Product Management, OTC COEs (operating groups), and the Operations Transformation team to refine and document standard OTC operating model across STT's middle and back office operations and provide input on plans to enhance operations
- Work closely with middle and back office business colleagues, derivative platform developers, SQA and IT Deployment to efficiently enhance platform(s) to meet joint middle and back office requirements and leveragability across multiple clients.
- Provide responses to sales opportunities related to onboarding costs and timelines and support efforts of sales / business development team

- Persuade and influence colleagues at all levels.
- Tactically use a broad array of communication vehicles to lead, direct, and facilitate implementation efforts.
PROCESS / LEADERSHIP:
- Provide strategic leadership in developing effective business processes and overall growth of OTC derivatives platform to meet client demand and industry changes.
- Oversee and recommend best practices, and educate others on their implications.

Qualifications
- 7-10 years of OTC derivatives experience, in operational, technology, product management, or project capacity
- Demonstrated team and project management capabilities, ideally in a global role, including estimation and planning
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills
- Strong written and communication skills and ability to present to clients and senior STT management
