Director/SVP – Fixed Income Product Control recruitment
Our client is looking for strong SVP level PC candidates who are approximately 12-18 months off Director level, to join this growing space, take on responsibility, drive process improvements and provide strong line control.
Main duties include:
- Overseeing the timely and accurate production/reporting of PL
- Responsibility to explain the formal PL to the traders IPV ensuring integrity of reported PL;
- Managing the resolution of various issues, breaks and recs directly with the FO or other infrastructure area
- Represent PC in all new Rates/FX products and system initiatives as the business expands
- General problem resolution for the derivatives and providing PC support to the traders
- Be one of the go-to people for a wide range of complex and vanilla product issues
Candidate Requirements:
- 8-10yrs + Product Control Experience gaioned within a top tier Investment Bank. The majority of which preferably gained within a line control capacity.
- Strong fixed income product knowledge, especially rates and FX
- First-rate interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion to change and improve processes
- Proven team building and management experience
