Disability Key Worker (Full time)
create Disability Support provides skill development and individualised support to people with a disability. This position is based at Head Office working with young people between 14-21 years. Key Workers are responsible for one-to-one support to people with a disability, individual program development, small group facilitation and community networking and engagement.
The successful applicant will possess:
- An understanding of the issues and barriers faced by people with a disability
- A high level of interpersonal skills
- Experience and knowledge in working with people with a disability
- Ability to work autonomously and enjoy a challenge
- Have completed or are willing to undertake Cert IV in Disability Studies or equivalent
All applicants must address the Key position criteria. A current Victorian Drivers License, Police Check and Working with Children’s Check are essential for this position.
