American Red Cross Disaster Services Coordinator:
Coordinates and serves as a resource for daily operations of American Red Cross Emergency Services in East Alabama.Part-time position. High school or equivalent. Associate degree preferred. 2-4 years administrative experience required. Duties involve coordinating, training, and deployment of volunteers and staff enrolled in Disaster Services. Collaborates with local agencies to ensure effective preparedness and response
outcomes during disaster lifecycle. Coordinates department’s efforts and participation in internal and external drills/exercise. Maintains records, reports and statistical data. Ability to manage multiple priorities and have strong skills in planning and problem-solving. Must display strong verbal and written ommunication skills. Able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events. Intermediate level proficiency with MS Office software.
