Discretionary Sales Executive – Global Asset Manager recruitment
Our client is a leading global asset who is in the process of building a very successful UK and European franchise. Their UK discretionary sales team is seeking a high calibre Discretionary Sales Executive to primarily focus on initiating and building relationships with wealth managers, discretionary managers and private banks through targeted sales activities. Key tasks include cold calling prospects to introduce our client's fund range, arranging sales meetings/presentations for more senior sales colleagues, inviting prospects and clients to events and seminars and helping to gather market intelligence. The Sales Executive will have the opportunity to attend prospect/client meetings every month and will be an integral part of a highly motivated UK sales team. The successful candidate will possess discretionary sales or sales support experience, strong investment knowledge, outstanding communication skills and the ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a pressurised environment. Experience of cold calling is essential. Please note that this is not a relationship management role, the main remit of this role is business development.
