Distressed Private Equity recruitment
The Firm invests in the controlling tranche of distressed companies based in the U.S. and Western Europe. The firm invests primarily in undervalued senior secured loans and debt obligations of financially troubled companies to achieve value recoveries or conversions to equity and thereafter create value through operational and financial improvements.
We are seeking a highly qualified credit market professional to help manage an existing portfolio and make investment recommendations across the capital structure. This position will be responsible for making investments in a variety of structures with an emphasis on distressed debt/private equity.
Candidate MUST HAVE Controlled Distressed experience!
This position will have three sr.analysts reporting directly to them.This position is located in Texas.
Responsibilities
- Manage due diligence on stressed and distressed investment ideas, including fundamental credit analysis
- Execute and manage stressed and distressed investment sourcing, restructuring and post-reorg operational control
- Collaborate extensively with the firm's analysts, portfolio managers and credit committee members to identify new opportunities and risks
- Lead team and/or collaborate with other teams in conducting benchmarking analysis, valuation analysis and industry research
- Interact with internal traders, investment banks, analysts, other funds and industry participants
- Coordinate with junior and senior members of the investment staff on all elements of investment analysis and portfolio management
Qualifications
- MUST HAVE 10+ years of experience in debt-for-control principal investing
- Distressed debt investments track record
- Deep credit analysis background
- An undergraduate degree exhibiting high levels of achievement
- Strong analytical and financial acumen and solid business judgment
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, writing and presentation skills
- Strong work ethic and grit
- Ties to, or genuine interest in working in Dallas, TX
- MBA from top-tier business school
- Professional certifications (CFA, CPA, CMA, etc.)
