Due to their successful appointment as a supplier to a number of multinational businesses, this design consultancy is undergoing rapid growth and is seeking a Distribution Line Design Engineer to join their Newcastle team.
Reporting to the MD, you will need knowledge of distribution line electrical configurations, electrical and safety clearances and insulation coordination as applied to distribution line design layouts.
You will have an understanding of how distribution networks are designed and operated and be a strong project lead, capable of managing multiple project facets including sub-contractors. Self motivation as well as a desire to learn from your peers will be critical to ensuring your career growth and you must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering as well as proven line design experience and demonstrated knowledge of "Poles n Wires" software is preferred.
