SCOPE OF POSITION:
This position is responsible for working with Corporate Customer Service on the execution of customer shipments; monitoring inventory control of finished goods; assisting with resolution of customer orders, and, enduring accurate and timely documentation of product shipments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned.

• Customer and Warehouse Delivery – Function as Distribution / Warehouse contact for Corporate Customer Service, answering inquiries and responding to requests concerning customer orders.
• Inventory Control – Verifies production; Corrects and records scanning issues. Facilitate cycle counts; Record inventory adjustments and ensure proper product is available for scheduled shipments. Closely monitor and take corrective action to ensure that quantity of orders filled match the quantity of orders placed.
• Problem Resolution -- Assist Corporate Customer Service, Corporate Transportation, and contract carriers, in the communication and correction of issues concerning inventory shortfalls, shipment issues, order discrepancies, and customer returns.
• Data Entry and Record Keeping -- Ensure that all documentation is accurate and filed in a timely manner; and, Maintain data integrity of product shipped to facilitate traceability. Maintain inventory metrics reports.
• Schedule inbound and outbound appointments in LEAN.
• Participate in product recall / trace events.
• Coordinate product donation pickups.
• Insure FEFO is being adhered to in the warehouse.
• Process maintenance receipts.
• Back up for Supply Chain Buyer/Planner.
• Back up for shipping office duties
• Notify Warehouse Manager or Team Leader of any equipment, material, food safety, or quality issues.
• Insure display build paperwork is accurate and complete and filed appropriately.
• Communicate display product needs for planned builds.
• Reconcile Chep inventory on a weekly basis.
• Create and maintain time-sheets for warehouse temporary employees.  
• Complete special projects, duties and assignments, as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
• Associates Degree, preferred.
• Coursework in Accounting, preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of 3 years of related warehousing or inventory management experience, or equivalent administrative experience, required.
• Experience working with a diverse group of people.

SKILLS/PROFICIENCIES:
• Solid data entry skills.
• General understanding of Accounting principals or procedures.
• Thorough understanding of Inventory procedures, systems, and techniques
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with financial management and reporting systems, such as BPCS.
• Solid organizational skills.
• Possesses good judgment and an ability to analyze data and information in order to make effective and timely decisions.
• Ability to seek innovative approaches to resolving problems.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization.
• Solid problem solving, multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
