District Fleet Manager
In this role you will enjoy a degree of autonomy as you manage the full fleet of primary and secondary equipment in an assigned area. This equipment represents the largest portion of our company's spend, and a strong leader can make a solid impact with regard to cost control and up time. [[Question: 98234]] If you're coming from outside the waste industry, you'll expand your technical knowledge as you work not only with the tractors but also with the sophisticated machinery they carry. We are adding a number of positions in various areas due to ongoing strong growth. While the precise details of this position will vary from area to area.
To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have:
- At least 3-5 years of fleet management experience.
- Budgeting and PL knowledge and experience.
- Demonstrated management skills, including leading and coaching technical staff, managing operations and financials, and overseeing safety and compliance programs.
- We're looking for a professional with the ability to learn new technologies, tools and processes quickly.
- Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are a strong plus.
