District Manager

District Manager - Kiosk

Purpose:

We are currently looking for a District Manager to lead a dynamic sales team in selling wireless phones and service-based technology products in a high-traffic environment.

RadioShack has partnered with Target Stores to develop, deploy and operate Target Mobile Wireless Kiosks across the country. Target Mobile team members are employees of RadioShack and have the important responsibility of upholding Target's brand image.

Job Functions/Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
* Motivates, coaches and leads multi-unit store teams to achieve identified key business metrics and expected performance results
* Establishes and maintains excellent host business partner and carrier relationships
* Ensures flawless execution of non-negotiable operating standards
* Manage the district's controllable categories on the district's profit and loss statement
* Fosters an environment that encourages employee engagement and satisfaction
* Contributes to regional initiatives to achieve overall business strategy
* Recruit, hire, and develop top-tier talent
* Other duties as needed

Education/Skills/Experience Required:
Requirements:
* Minimum 18 years of age
* High school diploma, GED or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
* Must possess a valid driver's license
* Ability to work a varied schedule based on the business needs including holidays, evenings, and weekends
* A minimum of 2 years demonstrated success in managing multi-unit retail sales or equivalent; wireless background preferred
* Able to perform basic financial analyses (e.g. breakeven for sales/GP needed per incremental labor hour)
* Exceptional problem solving, planning, organizational, and time management skills
* Ability to constructively coach others to succeed
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong computer skills including MS office
* Ability to travel extensively within specific geographic area
* Background check, including driving record, required. Drug screen may be required.
* Bilingual preferred in some markets

We provide an outstanding compensation package consisting of a base salary, plus bonus, and a company vehicle.
