Major Off-Price Clothing Retailer based in the greater Philadelphia area is looking for a District Manager to manage our Detroit Stores who is operating a high volume environment with multi-store experience and current responsibility. (soft-lines preferred) The preferred candidate must be a superb merchant; outstanding selector and trainer of people and a self disciplined operator with tight controls who can deliver results.

Are you what we're looking for?

Our District Manager will be the motivating force behind all activities in their stores. The chosen candidate will pocess and convey the standard of customer service, accuracy and urgency that is required and expected throughout the company. The ideal candidate will be professional, self-motivated, and pocess the desire to maintain a successful operation. They must be able to motivate all regional personnel to help them achieve their maximum potential. They will report directly to the Vice President and be completely accountable for sales and profit development, and shrinkage control. They will contribute input, and be ultimately accountable for training, development and evaluations of all regional store personnel, merchandise presentation, operational controls, and customer service.

Requirements for this position:

7-10 years of retail management experience (Big-box Regional Manager or District Manager in a specialty, multi-location, multi million dollar environment), soft-lines preferred

Proven leadership skills

Strong organizational, training and developmental skills

Excellent communications and supervisory skills

Ability to prioritize, plan and manage multiple locations, in several states.

Computer literate
