Summary
The Manager Trainee provides excellent customer service and enhances their operational knowledge of ACE centers. Work involves but is not limited to: check cashing, ensuring maximized sales/profitability and performing other financial services needed. This job reports directly to a District Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Cash checks using established risk analysis and risk management materials. Risk analysis is defined in current training manuals and/or policies and procedures materials.
2. Market ACE financial services through cross-selling and solicitation. Train and assist other center employees in marketing efforts.
3. Ensure returns and cash shortages are within established limits.
4. Ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times (parking lot, lobby and booth). In the event a safety hazard arises, notify a supervisor. Examine and inspect the conditions of internal and external signage.
5. Follow security policies and procedures in order to maintain a safe working environment and protect company assets.
6. Maintain schedule flexibility to work other centers as needed.
7. Must comply with all AML-SCI procedures
8. Perform other duties assigned.
Qualification and Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent training.
Mathematical Skills:
Knowledge of basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in all unit measures using whole numbers, percentages, common fractions and decimals. Ability to exchange US currency in any denomination.
Personal:
Effectively communicates to regional and/or corporate offices with areas of concern/improvement. Ability to work five days per week. More than one year of experience in financial retail preferred. Ability to work 10-12 hours in a confined work area.
Physical demands
A Manager Trainee is required to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, reach with arms and hands, and to have appropriate vision to see up close, and at a distance with ability to adjust vision and focus. The Manager Trainee may occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
