District Manager District Manager Job Statement The District Manager is responsible for providing the resources necessary for the General Manager to achieve customer satisfaction and profit objectives. The District Manager provides the support and development for the General Manager to perform effectively and is responsible for working with the General Manager to develop and implement plans to maximize restaurant/store profits. The District Manager reviews results of restaurants/stores in the district to identify opportunities for improved performance. The role is that of a coach and teacher, constantly seeking opportunities to motivate and develop individuals towards achievement and the building of an efficient and well functioning team. The District Manager challenges the individuals in the district and helps them to ask and answer the questions, "Why?" and "How can we do it better?" As a member to the blank team, the District Manager provides a critical link between restaurant/retail management and senior management and, with the support staff, is constantly seeking opportunities to improve and impact the business and strengthen blank's competitive position.
