District Manager
District Manager Keyboard Division
Reporting to the Regional Manager, this District Manager position is responsible for executing sales and marketing plans by developing and maintaining a successful and profitable dealer network within a territory, which will meet current and future division and corporate objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed budgeted sales objectives within a sales territory by product by model by month
- Assist the dealer on an on-going basis in the following business areas
- Document all important activities using division tools to insure that all information vital to the successful operation of the division is reported to the proper department
- Implement an organized plan for visits and phone calls to dealer network to provide the proper amount of support based on sound business judgment to achieve the sales objective
- Maintain the confidentiality of Yamaha?s business systems and documents.
- Assist National Sales and Marketing Manager(s) in achieving the proper inventory balance?
- Develop and maintain internal and external business relationships
- Other duties, as assigned
Requirements:
- 5 years minimum experience working in wholesale or retail music sales, or
- 5 years minimum experience as a District Manager or music educator (piano or keyboard instruments)
- A four-year college degree preferred
- Flexibility to travel, and to work weekends
- Advance Skills in MS Office
- Live in one of the following states; MI, IN, OH, KY, IL
