Position: District Manager
Location: Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota
Job Scope: Our District Managers are responsible for creating a fun and friendly shopping experience for our customers while leading, motivating, and coaching store teams within their district to achieve selling and service, people, merchandise presentation, operational, and financial goals. Additional essential responsibilities include:
- Leads by example, and teaches and ensures the store teams execute Dots’ customer service expectations.
- Drives the business through seeking ways to maximize sales and achieve goals.
- Actively recruits, interviews, and selects qualified store management candidates and fills positions in a timely manner.
- Oversees and manages the development of associates to their fullest potential, preparing them for the next level of responsibility.
- Ensures Company standards are consistently met for all areas of visual presentation including signing, fixtures, and merchandising.
- Ensures operational controls are executed throughout the stores.
- Controls shrink through teaching and ensuring outstanding customer service and awareness, and executing Loss Prevention Programs.
Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Position Requirements:
- Previous multi-store experience in a selling and service, coaching and development retail environment
- Ability to travel extensively within the District, including overnight stays as required
- The ability to travel outside of the District upon request
