Position Description:

Job Goals:
Increase sales revenue and market share for Films Product Lines (Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Tapes, Extruded, Cast, and Skived Fluoropolymer films). Lead introduction of new product / market programs in the Northwest region. Insure that we have top of mind position with our distributors and end customers and that we are the first choice when they are recommending, specifying or making a product selection.
Education, Skills and Requirements:
• 4 year degree, preferably in a technical discipline (Bachelor's of Science)
• 5 -15 years sales experience in a technology driven manufacturing business.
• Demonstrated success at pull through selling and end user specification approval.
• Excellent communication (listening and presentation), organizational (time, territory, priority management) and analytical skills, demonstrated competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM utilization (input and output reporting).
• Individual will have a well developed sense of urgency, a high degree of personnel optimism, solid business acumen, and described as mentally agile, action oriented and results driven.
Responsibilities:
• Distribution relationship management - Manage the business relationship with our channel partners, insure that the sales force is well training, motivated, achieving top of mind status, actively pushing our product to the distribution selling organization.
• OEM / Pull thru Selling - Focused on Photovoltaic and Display Markets with a high level of presence at the point of use, pulling our products through the distributor. There is an expectation of 70% of time allocated to a distributor will be in pull thru and direct selling activities.
• Consultative selling - provide technical support at point of sale and point of use. Not required to be technical expert. Responsible for knowing what is needed and delivering the necessary technical support to close the sale.
• Competitive Intelligence - Collect and report competitor activities in systematic (CRM) manor.
• Customer Intelligence - Develop understanding of the customers' strategies, markets and technology. Be in position to foresee opportunities and risk associated with shifts in strategies and / or technology. Critical deliverable is identifying new product / application opportunities and communicating them broadly across the organization.
• Marketing - actively participate in promotion of products in trade shows, collaborate with marketing to assist in the development of advertising and promotional programs, telemarketing plans, ect.
• Communication - communicate effectively, in a proactive manor, both internally and externally business issues, opportunities and risks, externally leading distributor business reviews.
• Forecasting - provide business team (PM, CSR, MRP) with accurate and timely information regarding changing customer demand (i.e. new wins and loses) and actively engaged in efforts to insure that we are in position to meet and exceed customer needs and expectations.
• Geographic Territory - responsible for increase sale revenue and market share the Northwest region.
