District Supervisor

Summary:

The District Supervisor – Events is responsible for understanding, implementing and enforcing the events process with their Retail Supervisors - Events in their designated districts. The position must deliver consistent leadership that will ensure the quality of our product. The events process includes planning, coaching and overseeing all aspects of event execution in their assigned district.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Maximize financial contribution and quality metrics for compliance and by having the right people, in the right place, following the process in the defined districts.

2. Train Retail Supervisor - Events on company process, policies, procedures and position responsibilities.

3. Work with each assigned Retail Supervisor - Events every month to ensure team compliance against expected goals. Coach and mentor where opportunities exist.

4. Manage execution and overall performance of scheduled events by monitoring daily and weekly provided scorecards to ensure the highest level of on-date execution is met.

5. Engage all support teams (Field Support, Recruiting, Payroll, Client Services, etc.) to influence proper support and guidance on team needs.

6. Effectively communicate to all internal and external customers.

7. Share competitive knowledge, best practices and recommend process enhancements with the team to improve overall performance.

8. Be the Events execution expert representing our retail partners and the assigned vendors within the defined district.

9. Lead and develop the planning and organizing of district event meetings.

10. Prepare and submit to management all required paperwork on a timely basis.

11. Recruit, interview and hire for Retail Supervisor – Event positions

12. Inspect company equipment on a regular basis to ensure proper maintenance.

 

Note:

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; two years related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Computer Skills: PC and SalesTrak NG proficiency; detailed knowledge of Word, Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: A valid drivers; license is required. A National Registry of Food and Safety certification required within 30 days of employment if not already certified.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has direct supervisory responsibilities with approximately 10 – 40 employees.

 

Work environment:  Home Office and field environment with extensive travel required within your defined geography.

( Sacramento, Concord, San Francisco, Reno, Fresno and 2 locations in Alaska)
