Position Overview
The District Visual Trainer is responsible to ensure that merchandise presentations represent the corporate brand and image consistently throughout district store environments. The District Visual Trainer must work directly with store teams to maximize all company visual strategies. Their primary focus is to train store teams on visual standards and practices. The District trainer is responsible to support merchandise productivity through the effective training and implementation of visual presentation strategies and directives.
Essential Job Functions
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Analyze region’s merchandising strategies and how it differs from the competition, and set up a progress plan to elevate company standards.
- Implement visual presentation strategies with store personnel
- Coordinate all visual presentation activities within the Region
- Contribute to the development of visual presentation strategies that support business growth
- Support business growth through effective new store openings
- Develop and conduct store visual presentation training sessions and workshops.
· Ensure excellent Visual Merchandising Standards through partnership with the Visual Manager.
· Conduct workshops as needed to train, elevate top stores and to support underperforming stores.
· Prioritize high volume and “focus” stores in store visits and walk throughs.
· Direct, lead and support all new store openings within the region.
Requirements
- Post Secondary Education in the Fashion Field, preferably Visual Merchandising/Presentation or equivalent job-related experience.
- 2 years retail management or visual merchandising experience.
- Computer literacy required; proficiency in Photoshop, Quark and Adobe Illustrator, Word, PC software is necessary.
- Professional, detail oriented, patient, positive team player with high standards and strong work ethic.
- Exceptional organization and time management skills.
- Strong coaching and training skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
Other Skills/Abilities
· Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business
· Flexible to travel 3-4 days a week within various markets
· Excellent communication, verbal, written and presentation skills
