Position Description Veolia ES is currently seeking a Division Manager to provide the overall direction and administration of the division to achieve assigned goals and objectives of the Company s strategic plan. The Division Manager is accountable for developing, maintaining, and executing overall operations for the Division; including accountability to ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, customer, and company policies and procedures. This individual is expected to conduct business in a professional manner and create a positive, safe and productive work environment. In addition, this position requires active involvement in promoting employee participation in the Peer-2-Peer Safety Observation Intervention Program. Planning and conducting meetings on a regularly basis with the appropriate employees groups to share information timely, or to provide education and training in areas of operations areas including: employee and labor relations, business operations, and safety. Responsibilities include: Ensuring that appropriate resources (people, equipment, supplies) are available to provide safe and quality work results. Develop goals for the division that support company values, business operations, and strategic goals Develop and operate business within budget, manage business operations in-line with business and financial goals. Initiate and support add-on and new business activities. Use Entrepreneurial skills to provide and sell creative solutions to grow the business and provide a competitive advantage. Responsible for all equipment and machinery assigned to the division; including recommendations for the acquisition and disposal of existing and new equipment. Cooperating with other Division Managers to resolve business problems timely related to staffing and equipment. Promoting positive and professional employee interactions and holds direct reports accountable for carrying out the policy. Fostering teamwork, trust, and conducting business in a manner that is of the highest integrity. Providing continuous feedback (praise and corrective) to employees, including completing annual performance evaluations and meetings. Ensuring correct application of Safety policies in Division and participating in Supervisory Safety Leadership Training. Maintaining knowledge of current industry standards and trends related to people, equipment, methods and regulations. Interpreting policies, procedures, regulations and ensuring timely communication and application in division. Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers; make appropriate visits to work sites to ensure safe and quality work environment/results or to resolve problems. Other duties as assigned to ensure successful operations of company. Basic Qualifications College degree highly desirable, High School diploma/GED required. 10 years operations management experience in industry preferred.
