The Data Surveys and Technology line of business combines data, analytics and software to enable more effective management of human capital. It brings together our complete array of capabilities in employee surveys, global databases, and talent and rewards technology. The focus for this role is on our software business which includes four main product lines including: HR and Talent Management Technology, Human Capital Metrics, HR Portals, and Online Reward Statements. Our HR and TM technology offerings include integrated, best in class solutions for Talent and Compensation management, employee communications and analytics, in a SaaS environment. Our human capital metrics database and portal provide benchmarks on key workforce measures and analyzes how they link to and drive business performance. Our HR portal business provides customers with custom portals or pre-configured SharePoint HR andEnterpriseportals. Our personalized online reward statements and web tools help employees understand and make smart decisions about their rewards programs. These offerings work individually or in concert to provide clients with actionable intelligence about their workforce.
The Role
As the Divisional Sales Leader, your primary role will be to grow both annuity and project revenue for all of the products and services Towers Watson offers in our line of business. This role will report directly to the North American Sales and Marketing Leader and be a part of the regional sales leadership team. You will interact regularly with a variety of key associates including HR Technology Leaders, HR Delivery Leaders, (Line of Business) Division Leaders and Managing Consultants (that lead our offices).
The Requirements
n 10+ years of sales management experience; consulting experience is preferred and ideally from a talent and rewards software environment
n Proven ability to generate and grow revenue
n Ability to generate high quantity and quality leads for software sales and related services
n Achievement of individual sales goals
n Track record of success in managing key client relationships
n Experience in managing large, diversified sales teams
n Proven ability to recognize and diagnose issues, work in teams, and leverage the resources of other related practices to address client challenges
n An executive presence with polished and well developed written and oral communication skills
n Superior ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and work across all levels of an organization
n Flexibility with regard to travel that can range from 40-60%
n An undergraduate degree is required; Advanced degree preferred
