Divisional Accounting Manager
Our client is currently experiencing rapid growth and has an immediate need for a Divisional Accounting Manager to support local and international operating entities. This is an excellent opportunity to join a green organization that is growing aggressively. This position will work directly with the Controller and will own all aspects of the month end close for several operating entities. Candidates should have a highly technical accounting background, experience in public accounting (ideally Big Four), and their CPA to be considered. Exposure to cost accounting/inventory/fixed assets/revenue recognition strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
-Handle all journal entries and month end close requirements for one-three operating entities
-Maintain fixed asset subledger
-Reconcile inventory accounts. Maintain sub ledgers for all relevant inventory
-Prepare financial statements for assigned entities. Prepare footnotes in accordance with US and/or Canadian GAAP
-Reconcile customer invoicing for revenue recognition purposes
-Responsible for monthly debt reporting, calculating monthly payments to lenders and or debt covenant reporting
-Act as liaison for external auditors
-Ad hoc projects and reporting as assigned by Controller
Requirements:
-BS Accounting
-CPA
-4-6 years related experience including experience within public accounting
-detail orientated, motivated individual with excellent analytical skills
-Advanced Excel skills
