Divisional Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity to join an iconic and well performing NHS organisation in central London. Support clinical decision making, partnering with clinical leads and other operational heads to drive clinical outcomes through sound and commercial financial advice. The Divisional Management Accountant will be recruited as a contractor for an initial period of 6 months.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you also work closely with the Directorate General Manager and Senior Finance Business Partner, amongst other non-financial colleagues and stakeholders. You will take control of all elements of financial management and management reporting for this clinical directorate, preparation of monthly management accounts, analysis of financials and models for management reports, ad-hoc projects as required by the business. You will liaise closely with the shared services finance team to reconcile financials with your directorate, identify, investigate and resolve accounting issues and ensure overall effectiveness and accuracy of reporting standards.

Your track record of partnering with non-financial, clinical and/or operational stakeholders to better understand and drive financial performance in an NHS environment will be held in high regard. You are CCAB or similarly qualified with experience in either NHS Trusts or medium to large size commercial organisations or other PSEC organisations as Management Accountant.
