Position: Divisional Marketing Manager

Salary: £75,000 plus bonus

This is an exciting role with a major manufacturer of engineering and construction products. They have a global presence and sales over £2b. Being a leader and the largest in their market its customers have high expectations. Hence producing high-quality systems and ensuring everything that goes into their products is of the highest standard.

They are looking to recruit a Divisional Marketing Manager that would look after Western Europe. Currently operating in most countries with local teams the major challenge of this role will be to provide brand purity, continuity and uniformity across all countries.

The role could progress on to looking after the same on a global basis.

This is a high-profile, senior role you can own and expand. Working closely with the Director of Marketing, you'll lead, develop and implement marketing strategies strengthening the brand.
Taking responsibility for annual marketing plans and allocation of spend, you'll be true champion of the brand both internally and externally - which will involve building strong relationships with marketing teams both locally and overseas.

The client is looking for a real marketing heavyweight. Your extensive experience of managing a brand and marketing teams within any business to business environment must demonstrate an understanding of the full marketing mix - an engineering or construction background would be an asset, although this is not mandatory.

You must be a proven people leader, able to bring the best out of a team that has talent and potential in equal measure. You must be a clear and analytical thinker, change manager, exceptional relationship-builder and strong influencer - someone who leads from the front and is wholly focused on results.

For instance this company have a number of local marketing teams all over Europe. You will have the natural influence to bring together a number of unique marketing strategies into one consolidated platform.
