Essential Duties and Responsibilities include assisting the Docketing Manager with the following:

 

Overseeing the daily activities of the docketing personnel (training, data entry, docket cross-offs, bar date docketing, revocation preparation, customer number updates, status updates, status checks. etc.).

 

Verification of Docket.

 

Evaluating the needs of the department and developing/implementing procedures to meet those needs.

 

Development of tools for measuring productivity and measurement of same for individuals and the group as a whole.

 

Training of new personnel and cross-training of all current personnel, including upkeep of training manuals.

 

Liaison to clients with respect to Docketing.

 

Transferred-In File processing.

 

33% Travel required.

 

Special projects as necessary

 

Other duties may be assigned.

 

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must have five years of Intellectual Property docketing experience (U.S. and Foreign, Patent and Trademark).  Individual must be self-motivated, extremely detail-oriented and posess the ability to work independently and lead by example.  Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate or Advanced Degree preferred.
