Qualifications:

This position requires a strong diverse technical background with experience in technical sales support. The ideal consultant is expected to have a degree in computer science with a minimum of three years experience in direct support of solution consulting in one of the vertical markets that OBS serves including legal, financial, retail, government and/or corporate. This senior-level position involves frequent domestic travel including sporadic weekends and holidays.

Experience in designing, developing, and implementing document capture/storage/retrieval and workflow solutions is required.

Must be able to document relative experience.

A working (hands-on) knowledge of Microsoft Office, Kofax, Captiva, Abby MindReader, and SharePoint applications.

A knowledge of legacy systems will be considered plus.

A working (hands-on) knowledge of scanning/imaging technologies from a wide range of manufacturers including Océ, Xerox, Ricoh, Canon, HP, eCopy, Omtool. Bell Howell and Fujitsu is critically important. Extensive Canon hardware and software knowledge will be considered a plus.

A working (hands-on) knowledge of document management and records management applications from a wide variety of vendors including EMC, Interwoven, and Microsoft.

In-depth knowledge of print management for a range of printing protocols including Postscript, PDF, PCL, LCDS and IPDS required

In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and topologies including LAN/WAN management, TCP/IP segmenting schemes, security techniques and remote access technologies are required.

Working knowledge of the Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems is required. Exposure to Citrix and/or VMWare is a plus.

The ability to write integration code in Visual Basic, C+ or Cold Fusion is a plus. Familiarity with SQL is a plus.

MCSE, CDIA, A+, N+, Security +, CISSP etc. certifications are a plus.
