Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Document Processing Specialist to assist on monitoring all the import and export activities from our clients and ensure all these shipments will comply with Hong Kong import and export regulations. Specific responsibilities include:
- Screening all the import and export documents and determine whether the license is required
- Applying Hong Kong Import and Export Licenses to each transaction within SLA
- Handling the classification request and maintain all related reports
- Coordinating with the clients and their suppliers to provide sufficient documents for license determination
- Communicating with Government Agencies to follow up the application status
- Developing and maintaining different reports and metrics in order to provide to all stakeholders
Skills
- Minimum 3 years of Supply Chain or Logistics Management experience, or relevant business
- Experience in handling the import and export trade business or international shipments
- Knowledge of customs clearance or freight forwarding industries is an advantage
- Proactive, reliable and willing to work hard under pressure
- Fluent in Chinese and English (both written and oral), Mandarin is an advantage
- Professional telephone manner, communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's Degree required
