To support the Orica International team we are seeking a:
based in Troisdorf/Germany
The main priority of the Documentation Supervisor is to create, collect and maintain product and development documentation and to maintain a documentation retrieval system.
Job Purpose:
- Create and maintain an accurate record of documentation regarding design standards and regulations.
- Create development process, validation and testing documentation in cooperation with developers and project engineers in accordance to Orica standards, procedures and other regulations and norms.
- Create and update product documentation and manuals for EBS.
- Implement and maintain a documentation retrieval system internally and, if appropriate, with external suppliers and consultancies.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Experience as Draftsperson, in Documentation Administration or Quality Management.
- DQM Training.
- Experience in writing test reports, manuals and process descriptions.
- Experience with electronic system design, product definition, specification, testing and validating.
- Understanding of development processes and product implementation.
- Experience with regulatory frameworks.
- Base knowledge AutoCAD.
- Bilingual - fluent in German and English.
- A minimum of 3 years working experience in related field.
- Able to actively manage or contribute to several projects or initiatives concurrently.
- Excellent analytical skills and a structured approach to product fault finding and problem solving.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision (within and outside area of expertise).
- Working in international team with development and project engineers.
- Good communication skills.
Highly desirable attributes:
- Knowledge of design standards, norms and regulatory requirements.
- Good working knowledge of quality management systems.
- Experience in hazard analysis.
- Nice to have: understanding of electronic detonator systems and design.
