Dodd Frank BA
The BA will primarily be in charge of the Dodd Frank tool used by Marketers for pre-trade enquires and guidance to determine counterparty trade eligibility, external business conduct requirements and if the trade must be executed on a Swap Execution Facility and subject to mandatory clearing.
Responsibilities
- Works closely with the Business, Compliance, end-users and other feeding systems in order to understand their requirements and processes.
- Document requirements and gain signoff.
- Understand how the IT applications support the business and their workflow processes.
- Analyse business issues and requests to produce solution options for consideration by the business and IT Development
- Produce detailed functional specifications that can be interpreted and used by IT Development.
- Prepare and execute functional testing of all new functionality implemented
- Prepare and organise user acceptance testing and manage the UAT sign-off process
- Define and produce training material and end user procedures.
- Manage all aspects of the release including the in scope content, timings, testing, communications, etc.
- Build strong working relationships with Business, Compliance, end-users and IT Development
- Work closely with all IT development teams
- Escalate risks and issues to IT Management
Qualifications
- 7 + years Project Management/Business analysis experience within investment banking.
- Experienced in front to back processes on OTC Credit, Rates, FX, Equity and commodity derivatives.
- Experience of the Dodd Frank regulations
- Strong Business analysis and documentation skills with ability to think logically to analyse problems and define efficient solutions.
- Requirements gathering techniques: interviews, workshops, user observation.
- Requirements capture: use cases, mock-ups, process flow
- Functional Documentation.
- Process Modelling and re-engineering.
- Testing: UAT Planning, execution and sign off.
- Training: Developing training material, planning and running the sessions.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with representatives of a diverse range of departments globally
- Ability to prioritize, organize own work and manage time effectively
- Intermediate Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio; VBA, Access and Algo a plus
- Must submit to a background and credit check
- Must submit 3 professional references
- Must be eligible to work for any employer in the US
