Dodd-Frank Compliance Specialist recruitment

This firm is seeking a consultant to design and develop solutions related to the evolving regulatory compliance landscape.

Responsibilities

Draft and develop internal policies and procedures in response to regulatory developments
Review current business practices against regulatory requirements to ensure that discrepancies are proactively identified and addresses
Work on various business projects with compliance implications
Monitor and interpret new regulatory developments to determine their impact on the firm
Ad hoc projects related to the implementation of Dodd-Frank

Skills Required

JD is a plus
Superior knowledge of US regulatory requirements and the proven ability to apply that knowledge in financial services
Strong knowledge of Dodd Frank regulatory framework as the team will begin implementing processes
Relevant compliance experience at broker-dealer or investment bank
Strong writing skills
Ability to interact and work closely with business partners
Reliable, dependable, accountable
Ability to quickly understand and interact with a variety of other product areas
Able to deal with fast developing business
Strong team player
