Your opportunity

Managerial:

-Able to replace the director in specific management meetings and to interact with VPs on specific issues. Have sufficient knowledge of the departmental responsibilities.

-Manage the day to day activities of the different teams (high level time spending per employee).

-Set the right priorities for operational tasks / incidents

-Participates in the TOP Incident management

-Manage the bi-weekly domain staff meetings reports back to the Director.

-Maintains the skills matrix of the employees to cover the current and new technologies (take required actions on training)

-Maintains the technology assignment matrix to guaranty coverage for all technologies.

-Defines, maintains and implements policies and procedures to improve overall performance.

-Is responsible for the DR/BC capabilities in the assigned domains.

-Is responsible to guide and participate in internal and external domain audits.

Project Program Management

-Manage programs on TT level and agree on priorities with business and other IT domains

-Report the status of all projects in the domains and propose/execute required corrective actions.

-Discuss/facilitate business needs, processes, priorities and requirements and align the needs of the different departments and/or countries in order to come up with a global solution.

-Make/facilitate solution designs, estimations and business cases for the global solutions together with the users.

-Plan, manage, control and implement the domain development projects worldwide and assure the execution within time, budget and defined/agreed quality.

Business:

-Function as key contact with TomTom internal customers and partners.

Your profile

Plan:

-Develop, maintain and implement a plan (3 year coverage) for the covered domains (technologies) in line with the department and Group IT (GIT) global business objectives.

HR Management:

-Select in collaboration with HR new employees to fulfil the domain needs on short and long term.

-Lead, motivate and retain highly qualified and experienced people.

-Define individual team objectives in collaboration of the employees and in line with the GIT world wide objectives.

-Execute performance reviews in line with HR policies to ensure employees performance and career development (training, skills upgrade, etc).

Financial: .

-Prepare the yearly operational budget for the assigned domains / technologies

-Prepare the required staffing for the assigned domains / technologies

-Monthly review of the running operational budget to overcome budget overruns. Report status and explain actions to correct.

Suppliers:

-Select strategic suppliers in line with the policies to deliver quality services to TomTom.

-Review supplier performance in line with the policies.

-Follow up delivery, invoicing, goods receipt and corresponding SLAs.

-Take the lead for RFP handling follow up (according to the policies). Communicate to the suppliers.

Objectives:

-Define yearly KPIs for the assigned domains in line with the GIT world wide objectives.

-Monitor and correct to reach the defined KPIs.

-Report on all defined KPIs and SLAs on monthly basis.

- Candidate should have good academic back ground- Computer Science degree and preferable masters in IT (or equivalent experience)

- 10 years of experience. Last 5 years as manager

- Sound knowledge on the following technologies

1-Exchange 2003, 2007,2010

2-LCS or OCS

3-VoIP (Alcatel or Cisco call manager)

4-Tandberg Video Conference equipment

5-SCOM (Monitoring platform)

6-Knowledge of firewalls (Palo Alto), switches and routers (Cisco) and load balancers (Radware), DNS and DHCP (Infoblox).

7-Helpdesk management

- Wide experience in project and resource management and employee motivation

- ITIL certification preferable

- Strong experience working in a multi cultural environment (Having worked preferably in US and Europe for at least 3 years)

- Preferably worked in a IT product engineering organization (In captive environment).
