Domiciliary Care Manager: A Domiciliary Care Manager is required for Bluebird Care Solihull, a new franchise within the Bluebird Care Network, renowned for the highest standards of care. This is an exciting opportunity for a Care Manager to join an ambitious and growing domiciliary care company operating across the Solihull area.
As Domiciliary Care Manager you will work closely with the Director and be responsible for the efficient running of this ambitious home care business, including managing the care supervisor, care workers, and dealing with customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- The legal and ethical running of the day-to-day business.
- Ultimate responsibility for all staff planning, evaluating workloads, and identifying training needs
- Development and maintenance of the quality control system to ensure its successful operation.
- Implementation of the complaints procedure
- Achievement of agreed sales targets
- Participate in on call either on a rota basis or ad hoc to ensure adequate cover.
- Have a strong knowledge of Care Standard legislations and regulations including understanding their implementation within the business
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the office
- Managing the recruitment of all care staff and co-ordinating their training to ensure we have sufficient levels of staff in place to meet customer demands
- Promoting our strong customer service values to all Bluebird Care employees
- Responsible for the safe and legal delivery of our services
Skills and Experience:
- Management experience of service provision in the care profession
- Should have NVQ4 in care and the Registered Manager's Award or equivalent in order to satisfy regulatory requirements
- Experience of Business Management would be advantageous as the role will require the ability to allocate, maintain and control financial resources and the creation of administrative systems
- Some experience of involvement in the business development and marketing of a care business would be advantageous.
- The Care Manager will need a full driving licence
