The role: DoubleClick Publisher Sales Representative, Online Partnerships Group The Online Partnerships Group (OPG) grows Google's business with online publishers by helping them utilize tools from products such as AdSense and DoubleClick. Our team is made up of high-achieving specialists who work with partners in online advertising and e-commerce. We thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented and international environments. On this team you proactively identify, develop, support and maximize revenue opportunities from existing and new partners. The Role: DoubleClick Publisher Sales Representative As a Doubleclick Sales Representative, you will take responsibility for acquiring new partners through various means including internal networking, industry knowledge and self prospecting. You will work as part of a team to manage and grow Googlersquo;s Doubleclick strategic publisher client relationships and bring in new high value strategic partners. A Sales Representative is also responsible for sales contribution, retention, growth and value in existing accounts and will work with various individuals on the team to promote value-added services to accounts, penetrating into all areas of the business including subsidiaries and partnerships. Responsibilities: Prospect initiatives in order to grow a universe of potential clients. Lead sales presentations on key accounts and drive contract/negotiation process to ensure business is secured. Create new revenue and build relationships through a consultative selling approach. Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape and identify risks to the business while taking preemptive action to mitigate. Contribute to the growth and strategic direction of Google DoubleClick's products and services. Present and position our evolving product set to meet our clients changing and varying needs. Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS degree. In lieu of degree, 4 years of relevant experience. 2 years sales experience with a proven track record in reaching and exceeding quotas. Preferred Qualifications: Strong understanding of or experience working with third party ad serving tools (DoubleClick for Publishers), as well as online ad networks and/or data providers. Background in technology sales and online publisher industry highly desirable. Strong presentation and communication skills. Demonstrated success working on cross-functional teams and building relationships across departments. Proven success in business development, client relationship and servicing skills, and solution-based selling.
