Downstream Oil
A leading energy consultancy is looking to hire a managing consultant to join their downstream oil team. The chosen candidate will be joining a well established team within a highly regarded company, where you will find yourself project managing and participating in commercially driven consultancy projects in all aspects of the downstream space. Whilst the main focus will be the EMEA region, the chosen candidate may well be involved with projects spanning other regions and the successful candidate can expect a reasonable degree of international travel.
Job:
Projects will be varied and could include strategy development, MA due diligence, market reviews and competitor analysis. Clients will include global energy companies, financial institutions, governments and industry associations. The position requires the ability to develop and apply detailed knowledge and experience of the global metals and mining sector.
Responsibilities:
-Deep understanding and experience of project management.
-Strong analytical experience;
-Ability to apply industry knowledge and use appropriate resources to specific consulting assignments.
-Develop models to support analysis.
-Communication and appropriate stakeholder management.
-Creativity: Ability to communicate information appropriately
Experience required:
-Significant experience within the strategy consulting sector with strong understanding of operations, business models and strategies.
-Relevant experience within downstream oil
