The DR Investor Relations Advisor (IRA), Sr. is responsible for advisingkey issuers in region on US/DR investor relations strategy and initiatives, as well as managing team projects and thought leadership initiatives that may be distributed to the Division s global client base. This role is expected to develop an in-depth understanding of the needs of issuers as they pertain to specific investors, situations, sectors and regions, and providing insights on what investor relations tools are available to help navigate this. The senior IRA specialist should develop a comfortable understanding of current trends in each of the regions and be able to work more independently and serve as a resource for mor junior staff as well as fill in for other team members as apporpriate. Some responsibilities of the senior IRA include (but are not limited to): Generating DR program performance analyses. Conducting company, industry and country-specific research and analysis. Keeping informed of U.S. capital market developments and trends related to our issuers Advising issuers in region on US/DR investor relations strategy and initiatives: Reviewing issuers' US investor relations initiatives and advising on implementation of specific DR strategies. Investor targeting and shareholder base analysis. Arranging buy-side meetings (in conjunction with Institutional Investor Access). Advising on retail investor relations activities. Performing investor relations website reviews and making recommendations for change. Other related IR initiatives Hosting regional-specific meetings for the Regional Relationship Management team to discuss upcoming projects, trends and issuer needs. Development of IRA project ideas(e.g., conferences, papers, promotional materials, etc.) Project management (for individual as well as team or division projects) Attending client presentations and providing overview of team/group services. A senior IRA must effectively engage key regional issuers, as well as act as a highly credible point of contact for issuer clients, representing the division at a strategic level. The specialist will play an active role as senior IRA representative in issuer meetings alongside RM. This role is required to perform their duties with utmost professionalism - as they must gain the confidence of clients, as well as internally, with Relationship Management. The role requires the specialist to be perceived as an authority and subject matter expert. The senior IRA will also be responsible for: Contributing to the consistency of team deliverables and improving GIRA workload efficiencies Identifying new product offerings Ensuring that this is the preeminent depositary bank IR advisory group; promoting the IRA team capabilities through industry groups NIRI, Regional IR associations, media. Monitoring industry best practices, as well as contributing new ideas to improve the division s investor relations support capabilities. Significant experience of working within the field of investor relations, asset management, or the sell side (corporate access / equity sales experience preferred) Knowledge of the 'language' of the buy-side and trading (i.e., financial terminology, valuation ratios, criteria for different institutional investment styles) Significant experience dealing with corporate management and client servicing experience Comfortable in various presentation style settings, including small group presentations to senior level management and public speaking within a group setting Ideally, a comprehensive understanding of depositary receipts as an investment vehicle

Qualifications

Strong business writing skills BA/BS. MA/MS/MBA is preferred. 6 years experience. 8 -10+ years experience is preferred.
